Did you use a strobe?

This is journalism at its finest, I mean seriously, how else am I supposed to learn about all the things that don't effect my life? I trust the photographers eye and vignetting to bring me what I need to see.

I need to know your EV step as well, it's important, as well as noting your exposure values in small type, the smaller the more important because I would then need to Control + to activate my monitors (2560x1200) font enlargement.

I'd also appreciate a back story, to make me want to care about something, to feel encouraged and engrossed in your particular "story."

Do you have a tatoo or self portrait with a medium format?

first of all, thanks for this amazing comment. it's great when people take their time to see whats under the surface. below the obvious - we are special and meant to hold hands now.

anyway, i sat the ev randomly and took a shitload of photographs on m to get the exposure right, then i overexposed on PURPOSE by 3 11/10 f-stops (you can do so because of digitals great DR) so i really have nice shadows, then merged all layers, added some gaussian, vignetting (due the crop sensor they are absent but you can add them anyway - its like b/w). i also added some digital "grain" because this vintage look makes it look more honest. and honesty is what modern journalism seeks for. i also had a croissant in that progress.

i hope you crash. maybe not die in the crash but get eaten by some kinky worms. dunno. fancy death.
