the little girl starts walking and each step she takes she conforms more to society, that is eventually finding rent in one of the apartments and getting a car like all the other people. By the time she is at the end of the street her time has come and gone.

I'm just used to seeing the B&W work. I was introduced to you by a friend after I told them I liked high contrast B&W film photography. So it's a bit of a shock! :)

Not saying that it's a bad thing! I think it's a great shot, and to be honest I think the atmosphere would be lost in B&W.
